Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group manages seven renowned Austin restaurant concepts, including Emmer & Rye, Hestia, Canje, Kalimotxo and Ezov, along with San Antonio concepts Ladino and Henbit. Chef Kevin Fink was named Food & Wine’s best new chef in 2016 and a finalist for the James Beard Award for best chef Southwest (2019) and best chef Texas (2020). Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph was also named Food & Wine’s best new chef in 2020 and was a James Beard Award semifinalist for best chef Texas 2023.


Since 2016, Giant Noise has worked with Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group to grow the national prestige of each concept and the chefs behind them, including opening several new concepts like Canje, Ezov, Ladino and Pullman Market.

What We Did

Giant Noise’s 2023 PR strategy for Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group centered around Ezov’s opening in April, Ladino’s opening in late fall and the announcement of Pullman Market.

Giant Noise prepared for the Pullman Market announcement by creating a PR plan, drafting press materials and organizing visits to San Antonio.

Giant Noise also created tailored pitches around each of the Emmer & Rye concepts to secure impactful national coverage.



Throughout 2023, our initiatives secured over 410 stories, generating a total of 2.2B media impressions. These achievements showcase the effectiveness of our strategic approach in amplifying the group’s reach and presence in the industry. Additionally, our partnership facilitated 15 press announcements, further solidifying Emmer & Rye’s position and enhancing its brand recognition. The cumulative media value of these efforts amounted to an estimated $21M, highlighting the impact of our collaboration in driving awareness and engagement for the hospitality group.
