Giant Noise, along with our partners at TKO, began working with the New Mexico Tourism Department at the peak of one of the most challenging years for the tourism industry. We worked to creatively transition strategy to the state’s proactive approach to COVID-19 and protecting its partners and customers with its programs – New Mexico Safe Promise and Safe Certified.
Tactics
- Develop a PR plan to reach both in-state and out-of-state visitors
- Craft creative strategies such as sending out a “Hidden Gems” media box to showcase the state’s special offerings
- Coordinate media and influencer press trips, building out an itinerary to allow them to explore top destinations and events such as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, resulting in 3,084,677 media impressions in 2021
