Challenge
Equipment Room is a high-fidelity listening bar located in the basement of Hotel Magdalena in Austin, TX. It’s inspired by Japanese kissas and provides an immersive audio experience. Giant Noise set out to capture the gorgeous aesthetics, music-focused ambiance, and captivate the attention of local and national audiences.
Tactics
- Secure consistent inclusion in a concept-focused bar stories in a national design, music, and trade publications
- Pitch new menu launches and exclusive events, and position Equipment Room as one of the best bar programs in the city
- Share programming ideas for elevated events such as the Omakase Vinyl Series, and build buzz through targeted pitching
- Create and compile materials for Gold Key Awards submission, leading to Equipment Room being named a finalist and recognized at the award ceremony
