JŪN

JŪN (pronounced June) is a restaurant by Chef Evelyn Garcia and Chef Henry Lu located in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas. The “New Asian-American” concept explores the story of both chefs’ upbringings in diverse households –– surrounded by different people, food, and cultures. JŪN celebrates family and differences, combining Garcias’ Mexican and Salvadoran heritage with Lu’s Chinese roots to create funky, yet delicious, flavors and dishes. JŪN is dedicated to the loved ones who helped the restaurant become a reality, and its name is a nod to the month in which many of them were born (including Chef Evelyn).
