ScoreMore Shows is one of the largest concert promoters and festival producers in the country, and they’re behind some of Texas’s most beloved music events. Founded in 2010, the Austin-based company has made a name for itself by being a tastemaker in booking artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, Wiz Khalifa and many others before they became recognized global stars.
In addition to booking over hundreds of concerts each year across the Southern US, ScoreMore currently owns and operates three successful music festivals in Texas – JMBLYA (Dallas & Austin), Neon Desert Music Festival (El Paso) and Mala Luna Music Festival (San Antonio).
Giant Noise has worked closely with their leadership team since 2015 to help bring each of their festival properties to new heights in terms of audience engagement and media coverage, in addition to announcing business-related news, such as the acquisition and merger with Live Nation Entertainment in 2018. Working to position the team as experts in the festival landscape, as well as tastemakers in culture and youth, ScoreMore has become the premiere millennial-facing festival producers in the country with recent accolades and coverage including New York Times, Billboard, Pollstar, Texas Monthly, Forbes, Complex and more.
More specifically, Giant Noise has helped the traveling hip-hop festival JMBLYA more than double its daily attendance since 2016, with an average of 30,000 attendees per location. Most recently, JMBLYA expanded for the first time ever to the Fayetteville, Arkansas-area in Fall 2019 and is expecting a sold-out Year 1 event.
Giant Noise also helped launch Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio in 2016. With over 30,000 attendees each year, the event has become the largest annual music festival in South Texas, as well as the premier music event in Texas on Halloween weekend with its cultural celebration of Dias de los Muertos..
Giant Noise has also supported the ScoreMore team as its partners with two of the biggest acts in music today to create their own artist-curated festivals, including Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD Festival in November near the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in April in Raleigh, NC.
Beyond support to their festival properties, Giant Noise has worked to elevate the profile of the executive leadership team, which includes securing participation for cofounder and President Sascha Stone Guttfreund in two of today’s biggest music conferences – Billboard Magazine’s Live Music Summit and Awards (2018, 2019), Pollstar LIVE! (2018).
